Sorry about sales tax , but eBay automatically adds on and collects sales tax for all states that require it. I do not handle it. eBay collects it and submits it to the appropriate State. It does not go into my account. Circumstances beyond my control.
However, if you have a “dealer” tax number, you can register it with eBay and make your purchases tax free.
A Note About Postage Cost: Like many buyers, I also feel it seems a bit ridiculous to charge .50 Or more (depending on buyer location) to send a 2 or 3 ounce envelope 1st class within the USA., but eBay puts us sellers in a situation which I would like to explain to potential buyers. In order to maintain "TOP SELLER" status on eBay, (among other things) we must show that fast next day shipping is provided. So, to verify that, the eBay shipping calculator AUTOMATICALLY includes USPS tracking which raises the cost considerably. So, we are stuck with it. If you are a buyer, please consider this when bidding and in rating seller's SHIPPING COST feedback.
